Song: Fatality By Saster Instrumental.
Vs. Sonic.EXE was a mod owned and directed by Saster and CommandoDev. The main opponent of the mod is the titular character from the Sonic.EXE series, but it also features many other horror-oriented characters from other official and fan-made Sonic media, including Sonic (PC PORT), Sonic CD, Sunky, Sonic R and Sonic Shorts, and Sonic the Comic. Sonic.EXE, also written as .Exe or .exe, is the central antagonist of the eponymous mod, and the antagonist of the eponymous creepypasta in which he debuted in 2011 along with a duology indie game. He is the opponent of the songs Too Slow, You Can't Run, Triple Trouble and their respective Encore versions, and also planned to appear in Final Escape and Slaybells, as a playable character. Sonic.EXE looks almost identical to Sonic (specifically Classic), but has notable differences. Overall, Sonic.EXE has darker blue fur and more saturated or paler skin in versions prior to 2.5/3.0. The sclera of his eyes are black, while his "pupils" are small dots, with the addition of a mysterious semblance of Sonic.EXE which is the constant production or excretion of blood in his eyes that oozes into his lower eyelids, leaving a birthmark that hurts and stings his eyes. His blood also has a more pink tone compared with a human one.
In You Can't Run, he has a significantly larger body stature, with his chest slightly thrust forward and a menacing look, at the same time doing his signature "title screen pose". The tips of his quills on the head and belly are more messy, while they along with the eyebrows have slighty crystalized parts. These cristals have a light purple color, while his blue fur also receives a more purple tone. In the center of his chest, a small x-shaped cut can be seen, while the upper tips of his eye sockets expose a small part of his dark gray skull, and having small amounts of blood in all the fingers of his gloves. When altering reality to something more retro, he turns into a pixel version of himself, with tidier fur and eyes more similar to the normal ones. However he still retains his jumbled and twitched flesh, also showing more of it around his eye sockets. The Encore version retains these features, except that .EXE has his back to BF, with a more serious look and closed eyes in his idle. The characteristics that point to his next transformation are not present in older versions of the sprites; in the alpha version of YCR, Sonic.EXE has a more slender and grotesque appearance, with spiked fur and even fur, giant arms and fingers, and purple-rimmed pupils. There is also a version drawn by GhostBunBun where several strands of his fur are messed up but not crystallized. He didn't have the gash on his stomach, and only his thumb, along with his left foot, would swing with his body to the beat.
In Triple Trouble and Final Escape, Sonic.EXE takes on a more beastly form known as Xenophanes; his current official form created by his (current) owner ASTRAMONICONX. In this form, his height increases again, now dwarfing Lord X even uncrouched. His spines are bigger but even messier and more crystallized, and this also reaches the eyebrows and tips of the ears. His former blue fur turns to indigo purple as the blood on his gloves covers half of his fingers. His eyes are larger, exposing more of his cracked skull, and his pupils appear smaller, with red and white irises and black pupils. The x-shaped slash on his chest is now larger, similar to Lord X's. The blood in his body present in his eyes and in his cut are more purple, while his smile opens up revealing his purple-toned gums, tongue and teeth, and crystallized on the sides.
In his planned design to be used in Slaybells, Sonic.EXE appears to be the same as his conventional appearance in Too Slow, except that two strands of fur on his head are messed up. His shoes are replaced with identical boots, but with pointed sides and no cuffs. He uses the two, for some reason untouched, tails of Soul Tails as a scarf. In his poses, he releases his quills' crystals.
