The haunting sirens of Sonic CD/Stardust Speedway. The Hedgehog Stew motif. The introduction of Starved. The slow "hue hue" in the background . It all fits together SO well..... But basically, in one, Furnace speeds up and places some spikes ahead of Robotnick and Sonic, with Sonic getting impaled. In the other one, which seems to happen here, Furnace gets ahead and stands in front of Sonic, who he runs into, killing him instantly because of how fast he was going. Both ways, Sonic's corpse is taken back to Robotnick's base, where every now and then, the Redhead will take a piece of Sonic to eat. He wants to savor it.

Apparently the reason this song was scrapped was because it contained lore written and created by Avery, who is no longer on the team. They have can use the character, but will have to rewrite most of the lore, resulting in this song being scrapped. Shame, because it's super fuckin dope.
