I'm thinking that Zardy was dark because Zardy's at his prime when he's in the darkness, rather than being in the light. So it's kinda meant to be like there isn't a light on him, making him even more powerful. At least those are my thoughts.

Like, lemme become a degenerate on all of this for a second. Also like Zardy's Maze Secrets spoilers ahead? First off, I was kinda hopingnothoping that this mod would contain a clue/a way to solve the two secret codea in Zardy's Maze, but oh well, maybe there is something in the code? Second, this mod kinda says that Zardy has been greatly impacted by his own stupid bravery, because he says something along those lines in his dialogue. The first and the most idiotic idea that comes to mind that when he was a human he has wondered into the corn maze, and something inside it turned him into the Zardy we know. Note, this is the *first* and the most *idiotic* idea that comes to mind. I don't really remember the base game saying anything about Zardy, or for that matter, anybody else in the maze, being humans/not monsters before they became what we know them as today. Maybe the secret tree text has said something like that, but I probably forgot it. The only thing I remember it saying is that everyone in the maze is there with a goal.
