@@TheIrek666eh, I think he always looks weird with his weapon manipulations (specifically when he’s at high or low ready and aiming). On the other hand Max Thieriot (who plays Clay) looks great handling his rifle, like the real deal. Tbh, everyone does but David Boreanaz. Good actor, though.

Thanks for giving a guy like Tyler a platform to share some of his wisdom with those of us that haven't earned it. He seems like a genuine dude. By the way, have you guys noticed how much Tyler Grey has been appearing on other people's KZbin channels lately? He totally blew up after you had him on

The skydiving device is called AAD (automatic activation device), and it requires a certain velocity at a certain altitude, and, unfortunately, a line-over might still provide enough lift that it slows the skydiver just enough that the proper velocity to trigger the AAD isn't reached- it's like a perfect storm situation. Also, most AAD simply open the reserve, so even if it went off here, might still be a deadly situation and wrap around the main while spinning like this.

I'm former Australian Army, wasn't freefall-qualified but we had AADs (Automatic Activation Device?) for our static-line chutes too. My understanding is they work off of velocity/inertia at a given altitude. They have a small explosive charge that servers the closing loop of the reserve which is spring-loaded to deploy the pilot. I remember an AAD deploying inside the aircraft during descent on my first training jump. One of the other students had an issue and did not jump, a stooly (stool pigeons, cadre that aren't instructors but assist) didn't jump either as a consequence. For whatever reason his AAD deployed as they were descending, I remember it being a pretty-big deal at the time. Didn't witness it myself, just the aftermath.

Thing is, also, as a cop you are mostly clearing spaces with perhaps one partner, not a team, and only a pistol, and it changes the approach. I drove tanks, so I wasn't so wedded to a rifle when I made the switch to the police, but then I wasn't sitting behind a couple of inches of armour with a big cannon on top any longer! As for the parachute, I was playing a cricket match for the HK Police, against the British Army, at the Shek Kong RAF base in the New Territories, HK, when a skydiver roman candled into the field next to the pitch and was killed instantly. It was not a pleasant watch seeing him hit the deck. Never fancied jumping out of a perfectly good aircraft and relying on a parachute to get me down!

These reactions can easily be longer and will still be as good to watch while not feeling like a long episode at all. (might save time on editing also and be out faster ^-^ ) The in between stories are hilarious but also the real life examples are a great add on. That there will be one for each episode is gonna be a great playlist, interested in the reactions to later episodes when they bring up more the consequences of operating to the individual. I feel like they did it as good as with the training accident to show that part.

Besides the obvious great qualities of this show, my favorite thing about it is it doesn’t cater to equality and women empowerment that basically every other show now does. The guys talk about "seeing the cracks" and it being distracting. This happens no matter your background. My background is Mental Health, addiction, and working with serious criminals with these kinds of issues. Thus, when I watch a movie where one of the characters has something like "DID" (multiple personality disorder), it can become difficult if they aren't portraying it realistically. (And I have yet to see DID portrayed realistically.) At the same time, I have watched movies about cops and the military my entire life wondering if such and such is realistic, would that happen? So.....when I discovered FNG's "Beers and breakdowns" I was in heaven because these are the guys who know and they have answers to these questions: Awesome !

It’s weird how pluralities like mobs and societies function beyond the control of all the individuals that comprise them. It’s scary what it can make us do almost as if we have no will of our own at times. I saw a video of a crowd of Indians chasing a man eating tiger up a pole, and the guys closest to the top grabbing the tiger, and it took some of them out gruesomely, but the crowd overwhelmed the marauding tiger. It never got to eat anymore of their families, that’s for sure. It was horrifying on many levels. I mean, they were barehanded, zero protection fighting a tiger that enjoys killing humans, like it was the only thing that they existed to do. No hesitation going up that pole after it in a surge of humanity, and no hesitation after a few guys get ripped apart at the top. It was all quick too.

This kinda big dude was losing his sheit on a sheriff (after causing multiple accidents). The sheriff starts shooting him at close range in the chest, and this Frankenstein MFer keeps walking through it like it's nothing...for about 5 seconds. People think guns are an automatic "off" switch, but they clearly aren't. Some other KZbinr said they needed to work on the "Mozambique Drill" (2 to the body, 1 to the head). That guy could have been all over that Sheriff if he wanted to. Perhaps it was PCP? What are your thoughts Officer Buck? kzbin.info/www/bejne/rX2peYCaaLF_eq8
