I’m aware of their newer stuff but it’s nice YT suggested me some of their older stuff. Nice to discover the roots and earlier sounds of a band and see them progress to what they are today.

yannis used to be in a math rock band so he draws some influences from that genre

i personally think this should be classed simply as 'the future of rock'

Why does it matter what genre they are? They make great music. No other information is necessary.

yeah defo, plus foals old stuff was very math rock and some members were involved with and in various other math rock bands i.e The Edmund Fitzgerald so I guess it's in there.

Maria Aguilar Sé que es una pregunta de hace seis años, pero no importa cuando leas ésto, la respuesta es la misma: Porque MTV en español lleva dos décadas siendo malísimo en contenido.

wait wait wait. From My understanding, Math rock is bands like Battles and such. I don't really think this share many similarities to that sort of music. Wouldn't this just be pop or something?
@lukecooper914010 жыл бұрын
Math rock is basically spontaneous drumming with the lead guitarist following the flow of the music on his own accord and the other components filling in the gaps. More like music vomit, but in a brilliant way.
