The two songs are very diffrent, and i find both equally good. The other one bas more action, and also has great build up part, but this one has a calmer atmosphere.

George Elven it’s the opening tab played on the guitar that gives me that sense similarly. Yannis’s v dreamy voice almost gives that off aswell, plus the subtlety of the drums late on helps

I agree with you as well allyally. I think that this is one of the strengths of Foals as a band. They succesfully break convention and yet still remain true to the song that they are playing and to the influences that have come before them. Inhaler is a perfect example as the song really has no hook and only two chorus breaks but It is such a well crafted song. Anyways, I like these guys and had to tell someone about how and why, sorry it had to be you allyally. Welp...
