Fresh off the press! Listening once may me feel, in the US at least, how we dodged the bullet and didn't all die from covid.. We are so fortunate. Uplifting!

Okay these are my favorite sessions now... It's hard to imagine how incredible it would be to see all the group live and with other songs too (maybe new ones??.. *wink wink*) Also, one more proof that foals are genius at layering their music, and In my humble opinion, there would be cool to have more of that on Life Is Yours album. Even though the whole thing is still on repeat in my headphones and it's wonderful, these orchestra versions just blow my mind away by how more wholesome they feel. Wash Off, for example, for me, sounds more like a completely new iteration. Love y'all Peace

I mean... Darn, now I feel like the comment is kinda rude... I love Life is Yours, it literally was one of two things that kept me trying to survive for 3 months staright, right as it came out, it's one of my favorite and one of the most important albums in my life, I often try to cover it on piano when no one's home, just because it makes me feels good. What I meant is, for me, these versions feel more wholesome, mostly because there is more live vibe here and it actually sounds wider, when the album was more about synths and electronics. Connecting it with the layering thing I said before and that just means that Foals x LCO contain more things that I personally love or consider valuable so... That doesn't meant that album versions are incomplete or something. They are actually incredibly well made and aiming other things in terms of sound.
