this is a late comment, but do you need to make the bottom template bigger than the top one to compensate for the wire thickness and the melted foam? as i see it, the bottom template is a female one and the top template a male one, you are cutting to the outside of the top male one, but the inside of the lower female one. Or do you just lower the bottom template 1mm or so to make up for it? i hope that makes sense.

i has se same cutter many hobbyist. super expensive but good, only one fail have, back beam have only one wheel, need be 2 wheel both side beam top.lot better and stabile.

what you use in the core (xps, eps, epp)?, and what is the diameter the wire thanks

Have used both XPS and EPS - EPP is unobtainable here. Can't remember the diameter of the wire, but can confirm it is stainless steel fishing leader.

I use .016 nichrome wire from Amazon . About $ 10 bucks for a 100 ft spool. Nichrome is the wire of choice for foam cutting.

I have never seen anybody talk so much and say so little, and his English accent is not understandable to me and all his pointing with hands and fingers is pure distraction...he covers so much that we already know..we want details about the wire placement for right and left wing cores with a double taper
