She continues to incubate. The intruder the other day apparently threw off Beau's hormones and he hasn't been incubating as Gabby would like. Tomorrow is the scheduled pip watch date, but, it will take a miracle for this egg to hatch, based upon current known information. Gabby invited Beau to mate a few times this morning and he only half tried with one failed attempt on the branch. He still doesn't seem to realize that he can "fly" to her back.🤷‍♀️ Greetings to everyone! 👋🤩💕 Dreamy told me that there are still problems with the weather, etc. I pray you all stay safe while moving about in the snow.🙏 Wishing everyone a peaceful evening and a blessed weekend! 😇🤗🦅🌺🌻💖😻💕

Fluff is more needed when Egg hatches--to prrotect the Chick from rough edges of nest limbs and bark. S will gather more of that in coming days. Over 30 some days to build up the nest fluff.@@SoulGuidanceArroyoSeco

This is such an eggciting event, the first egg of 2024. Now the fun begins, waiting for the next one and then for the first sign of hatching. I am still amazed that I can sit in my home and watch these marvelous raptors in their natural environment and even more amazed that I can watch one lay an egg and then watch those eggs hatch. Congrats and many thanks to FOBBV and to you, Cali, for making this amazing adventure possible❣ 😊

Yes The Egg is finally here( after a one yr lapse since Spirit).Hoping for another Egg, (almost a Certainty),maybe another Spirit(what a handful she was) and that both of them hatch and Fledge. Neither J nor S have ever hatched and Fledged 2 Chicks in one yr.S is a puzzle to me still.Lands in nest, looks puzzled. Finally J talks to him in " baby Eagle talk(very softly)"---he walks around in front side of her, looks down--'Gets the Message'. Need nest fluff, more fish and more Egg time off for Mom. He knows where to go and get all that stuff. And he's the best transport pilot to bring it in. Cali--thanks for Posting this Video. Many People have had their fears relieved that were 'Gun Shy' from last year,including myself. Best part ahead(hopefully) for our E Pair--with at least one Hatch and fledge.
