🥚Jackie and Shadow have withdrawn from their unhatched eggs. On 4/11, one egg was broken and disappeared in the bowl. It is unclear if there was any development inside. On 4/13, Jackie consumed at least one remaining egg (no signs of development). The last (third) egg still remains in the nest (hidden in fluff).

Jackie and Shadow are a perfect pair. They work so well together, from renovating their nest to sharing fish to incubating eggs. I love to watch their interaction with each other. Not only this, but they are two of the most beautiful bald eagles I've ever seen. Thanks FOBBV and Cali Condor.

I like seeing the “ Mr.& Mrs.” together in their remarkable nest , so often these days. They have added to it beautifully, with the multiple sticks & fluff, more less getting it prepared “possibly “ for future eggs ? 🥰. Their connection is so fascinating to me! I loved their little kisses ! Lol. And to hear their vocal conversations to one another, as they flew on out together, it’s a beautiful sound to my ears! I’m amazed by “something”they do , in every video! It’s kinda like, “ Days of Our Lives”! Lol. A new episode everyday, but J.&S., are “ the starring cast, “, Without the drama to their lives . 😁👍. I appreciate this opportunity, & blessing of tuning in, to such a site to see, in the life of bald eagles, ( but not “ just any” bald eagles) but , the one & only , “Jackie & Shadow”! As do I. Cali: You know to show what you want in a V Clip. J & S spend most of their lives being together, of which we see only so many months. I'm sorry that we won't have the benefit of seeing them handle New Nest LIfe this year as they age further. Watching here and gathering info from other E Parents as they go thru the same situation to compare with our E Pair's efforts next yr. Surviving disappointment is part of life's Cycle of being alive--it still hurts to see how things turned out here.

Pre- dawn, there were two Stellar's Jays on the nest. For the short amount of time I watched, they were not noisy (!) and seemed to be looking for nestovers.

That was curious to see them both digging into the same spot of fluff. Trying to see if the 3rd egg is still there? I've found that they really do have different "personalities" (eaglalities?). Jackie is more decisive and direct; Shadow more attentive and accommodating.

she has such a big beak. I am so hoping that all these nest renovations mean Jackie might lay another clutch. She did mate with Shadow a few times in the last couple of weeks. And isn't it unusual for them to spend so much time renovating the nest after a failed clutch or the fledging of a successful one? After Spirit fledged it was a mess of jumbled sticks, no soft nest bowl, and this looks so different than then. Hoping, even though the odds aren't good.

@edwardizhonig204 Hey I'm ok, They said I'd be sore, They lied. He stuck me so many times with novacaine it was unbelievable that alone was painful without 16 extractions! Glad it's over! The pain was horrible!! He wanted to numb me up again, I said Hell no. It was awful, But I've got beautiful teeth now, Cried when I saw them. Hope you feeling better! You are always in my Prayers my friend!
