For anything but the most demanding basshead music out there these are hands down the best sounding Bluetooth headphones on the market. Not everyone will understand or appreciate their sound as they are not tuned for the masses, but these provide an incredibly balanced sound so much that I sold off a few of my high end wired headphones

I had the PX8s and felt they had a great sound, but EDM made me want a little more bass that maybe the MW75s can fix, but I’m waiting for the Floss opinion Edit: it could be the tiredness but I need to learn to wait for the end of the video! I own the Focal Elex (wired, open back headphone) and I feel the same way about them. They're the most realistic, natural sounding headphones I've ever heard (like being at a concert). Definitely want to give the Bathys a listen someday.

I love these headphones. They are comfortable. The buttons are easy to use. The dynamic noise cancellation is good. The most impressive factor is the sound quality, by far the best I've had.

Focal makes premium headsets, they have this in their first version, can't wait what they will produce in the next iterations, but it's great to see the Hi-Fi world has started doing bluetooth/ANCs ...I have the Focal Radiance and they look & sound beautiful :)

Focal headphones are fantastic high end headphones and worth the price tag. I own the focal Elegia closed back and the focal utopia open back. I have tried many high end headphones but Focal make the best for the sound, build quality.

Went to audition them today and bought them.😎 They sounded indeed the way you said. Listened to the B&W PX8 too but that was not my kind of sound: great punch but the soundstage was too small, the mids too recessed and overall a sound signature that was too dark for me. I own the Focal Bathys, honestly i didnt know about the brand until this one came out and I got to say. This are on there with my Mark Levinson 5909. I own quite a collection of ANC Bluetooth Headphones. And the Focal Bathys are easily top 2 of the ones i own. I never go loud on them. These headphones are loud.

Kinda wish I'd waited for your reviews, was torn between M&D, B&O, B&W, and Focal. Went with Focal because lots of good reviews, newness, and man I love the look. But I'm happy with the Focal, they sound great, and honestly I can really hear the difference between DAC mode and BT. And I love the bass on the Bathys, but I am not a basshead.

Having the Sennheiser Momentum 4s and Sony M5s at your top 4 and 5 was a satisfying thing while it lasted lol. I love how these ones look like wired Over Ear Monitors. Hope their price go lower at some point

Floss check out some iems. There are a lot of budget-ish options with planar magnetic drivers. Ones to check out would be the z12 (my favorite), raptgo hook, or tangzu wu zetian. Crazy sound quality as far as detail and overall balanced sound for the price.

These are the most comfortable is have because they dont lay on your ears like Masters & Dynamics.They sit on your head around your ears. The only thing I dont like is plastic buttons. The CLEARS open back wired is another world. But you paying $1500.00

I you should review the Mark Levinson 5909 anc headphones next. They are getting great reviews. Also, it might make sense to break the anc segment into two categories. With 500 dollars being the cutoff between the two categories.

Hi Flossy - I am really considering MW75 over B&O H95 but I am unsure if the ear cup size is over the ear and not on the ear. Some reviewers are saying that the ear cups are too small and press against the ears. Can you please let me know your take on that aspect .. say, comparing this and Sennheiser Momentum 4s? I can buy and check it out and return but trying to avoid the hassle :)

@@electrology Yes, I would go for Bathys. They look as if they have more room to them and top it off with newer version of Bluetooth. I currently rocking my Sennheiser Momentum 4 while not great i do enjoy the listening of bad tracks in the recordings, and soundstage. Never had the Bathys but i go for them. I do miss the sound signature; natural sound of the guitar in the H95 and vocal impact.

Actually Floss, I'm telling one thing, I'm a musician and I know some technical things about music and audio, seeing the frequency response seems that it starts from 15Hz, which so much deep bass(sub bass), but when you put ur EQ in the app, the lowest bass starts from 62Hz, which is not the deep bass level, so if you put that it might not sound like clean or deep bass! But in JBL app, it allows you to adjust the EQ down to 32Hz which is sub bass level! So, when you review any headphone or speakers which can produce sub bass, adjust your EQ based on the frequency, if the proprietary app doesn't support sub bass level adjustment, you can use the paid version of Poweramp app, which is more powerful player, which allows you to adjust the EQ down to 16Hz! This is my small suggestion!

Floss, great review as always! Have you been testing these high end headphones on your Samsung devices? I really want to pull the trigger on something like these or the MW75's but I'll be doing most of my listening on either a S22 Ultra or Tab S7+. The lack of AptX/HD or Adaptive support on Samsung's makes me feel like I won't be getting the best bang for the buck. None of the high end cans support LDAC either!

The one thing I got to mention, Bathys sound better after some burn in time. I did like 200hrs and they feel warmer and bass got a bit more pronounced. Absolutely love when Flossy enjoys how headphones sound)
