Focal Inside - Installation Impulse 4.320 & Isub Twin - Volkswagen Golf 8

Je l'ai installé et vite sortie dans une golf 8 de 2021. La voiture m'a affiché pleins de code erreur car on débranche les HP l'ordinateur ne détecte plus de résistance ! Merci Focal cela m'a coûté 80 euros pour me remettre l'ordinateur a jour !!!!!

For all the folks looking for the information. (I have a 2018 vw polo) : if you want to change sound system, just changing speakers won't cut it as the main radio don't have enough power and the sound will not improve much (in my case at least with J794 radio). But when you add this amp and correctly set the gain, oh man this is night and day. So for truly PNP system you need to buy the amp, the Y harness for wv and also the extension cord. If you don't want to buy the last item, you gotta solder some wires but be aware at least in polo there is no space behind the radio so you need to root cables either to the glovebox or to the passenger feet area like in the video. So I had to extend cables myself as I didn't bought extension câbles myself. Hopefully all this info will help someone. Cheers :)

Where did you put the cables and the amp? In the glovebox?

@@sanekn Are you still talking about the impulse 4.320 ? The cable must have been really long in order to install that in the trunk. Did you buy many extension cords?

@@randomyoutubenickname no it's when I made a rack in the boot with 3 amps and 2 dsps, when I had only impulse, I tucked it in the zone under glovebox, on the right of the passenger leg, behind the flappy plastic trim piece.

@@randomyoutubenickname when I installed all stuff in the trunk, i've took the 0 gage fat ass wire, popped it through the firewall, and put it on the driver side of the car, and all the speaker wires i've root on the right!

Bonjour , dans mon cas de figure sur ma Peugeot 208 j’ai installé un îlot focal sur mon faisceau d’origine (pour ampli 1 canal pour subwoofer ) , maintenant j’aimerais pouvoir amplifier le son de mes enceintes mais l’autoradio d’origine volume au max n’est pas suffisant . Est ce que je peux malgré mon installation rajouter ce module ?

Focal dit de laisser respirer l'ampli impulse et vous faites tt le contraire. Et on ne voit a aucun moment les branchement mais seulement quand il est déjà brancher et en photo et seulement côté ampli' pas côté poste.

I am going to install this amplifier to my cupra leon (leon mk4). Except the IY-AC focal cables that are sold separately, do I also have to buy a different ISO harness, in order to plug this amp?

Yes to true pnp you need to purchase the Y harness and the extension cord also, but if you don't mind some easy soldering, just Y harness will work (I did it like this cause didn't want to spend another 50€ for cables...)

Non, il faut le brancher sur l'ampli, pas directement sur une alim/batterie. C'est un caisson passif (y'a juste le haut parleur dedans en gros), c'est pas un caisson pré-amplifié (qui intègre un ampli dédié)

Je pensais que tu parlais du i sub twin. Le isub 2.0 est bien un caisson pré-amplifié donc faut l'alimenter depuis la batterie.

comment faites vous pour gérer les 45 ° de déphasage entre les sièges conducteur et passager . ce type de caisson appelé seat box n'est pas un brevet déposé ?
