Focal MC Auto 28mm f2.8 (Minolta SR Mount) Lens Disassembly

Full disassembly and reassembly of a Focal MC Auto 28mm f2.8 lens. This is the Minolta SR Mount copy of the lens. Lens is disassembled to access optics, mechanical components, diaphragm, and body sections.
Don't let the K-Mart branding throw you off, this is a fine little wide angle lens. Even though this is a cheaper wide angle lens, it is surprisingly easy to disassemble and fairly repairable. It does use some cheaper components, but the internal design is simple and easy to repair. It is closer to the 28mm MD Minolta lenses in this regard, but even more simple.

I have a similar lens but mine seems to be spring loaded rather ball bearings, is there a video on disassembling a lens like that?

Like previously mentioned I would very much appreciate a tutorial on the 135mm and how to reinsert the aperture blades.

i completly fucked my hanimex 28 mm f2.8 while cleaning fungus. :/ cracked a lens element, broke a metal patch that controled the aperture and put the focus ring out of position. It was cheap, so no big worries, it was an interesting experiment that went terribly wrong due to my incompetence.

I really hope you respond: Is this the Sigma Mini Wide 28mm f2.8 lens? You're saying it's a generic lens, but it looks just like the Sigma one...

hey bro do u have a dissamble tutorial to focal 135mm? i disassemble mine, i accidentally remove the front element and accidentally add some smudges there. i want to remove it again but it doesnt fall out, theres no tip for spanning wrench on the front filter.

I have the same lens and would love to have a reassemble video! sadly I messed up the aperture blades and don't know how to put those into place and function right
