Foce del Po: alla scoperta della foce dell'Adige

Con i suoi 410 km l’Adige è il più lungo fiume d’Italia dopo il Po, e la sua foce, all’estremo nord del Parco del Delta del Po, è il confine naturale tra Isola Verde, una frazione di Chioggia, e Rosolina Mare.
L'Adige non raggiunge il Po perché l'uomo glielo impedisce. Infatti là dove la pianura raggiunge il livello del fiume, incomincia il poderoso arginamento longitudinale, che accompagna la corrente sin quasi alla foce e contribuisce al rialzarsi dell'alveo.
La Torre Panoramica Foce dell’Adige risale al 2015, quindi nuova e quasi sconosciuta. È stata realizzata in acciaio ed ha un’altezza di 16 metri circa. Salendo in cima alla torre, si trova una piattaforma di osservazione. Questo punto è perfetto per ammirare il panorama dell’incontro tra fiume e mare. Per raggiungerla occorre fare una breve camminata dal parcheggio per le auto lungo l’arenile del litorale.
Rosolina Mare è considerata la perla del Parco del Delta del Po. Parliamo di una penisola che si estende per circa 9 km. È circondata dall’acqua delle valli create dall’Adige e dal mare Adriatico. Il paesaggio è tipico mediterraneo: una fitta, rigogliosa pineta e un bosco mediterraneo di lecci e roverelle. Ben 172 ettari di superficie alberata sono l’habitat perfetto per numerosi animali. L’arenile di Rosolina Mare è stato premiato nel 2008 dall’ARPAV con il Delfino Blu, per le caratteristiche singolari a livello marino e fluviale che il territorio presenta.

The Adige does not reach the Po because man prevents it. In fact, where the plain reaches the river level, the powerful longitudinal embankment begins, which accompanies the current almost to the mouth and contributes to the rising of the riverbed.
The Foce dell'Adige Panoramic Tower dates back to 2015, therefore new and almost unknown. It was made of steel and has a height of approximately 16 meters. Climbing to the top of the tower, there is an observation platform. This point is perfect for admiring the panorama of the meeting between the river and the sea. To reach it you need to take a short walk from the car park along the coastal beach.
Rosolina Mare is considered the pearl of the Po Delta Park. We are talking about a peninsula that extends for approximately 9 km. It is surrounded by the water of the valleys created by the Adige and the Adriatic Sea. The landscape is typical Mediterranean: a dense, lush pine forest and a Mediterranean forest of holm oaks and downy oaks. 172 hectares of tree-lined area are the perfect habitat for numerous animals. The beach of Rosolina Mare was awarded the Blue Dolphin by ARPAV in 2008, for the unique characteristics at marine and river level that the area presents.
