For anyone who hasn’t watched the latest episode. He was under great pressure as his team was not as strong in term of vocal or dance compared to team A. No one in his team confident in the high note. Even coach Li Rong Hao also admire Yizhou’s courage to sing using real voice and not nasal voice during live performance. At one point during his conversation with Nemo, he told Nemo that never to make excuse and he has to work on the problem one by one. This is a man stay true to his conviction and his principle. Even in his livestream he never make any excuse to himself. Leader material and C material 🚢

@@moonjain454 do you really understand what faslsetto is? Yizhou used his chest voice for the note, which is why he craked it. For those who have trained to be a vocalist (or at least have taken vocal classes long enough, they would use mixed voice for those notes). Obviously Yizhou is a dancer so it’s understandable that he couldn’t hit the high note with his chest voice.

Idk how many times I’ve watched this focus cam and stage performance. From iQIYI app, to KZbin, to ig posts. I actually love the color of Yizhou’s voice, very distinctive and well suited for a sexy song such as this, trust me if you put all current top 9 singing without seeing their faces, you won’t be able to differentiate one trainee from another other than Yizhou, the few other trainees that have distinctive voices are otter and ziwei, you can immediately tell them apart from the others when they sing. Yizhou is a diamond in the rough, he has so much potential, he’s nailed dancing and expressiveness, all his stage performances showed him mastering the emotions required for each stage perfectly, all he needs now is vocal training to polish his singing skills

Yes. It is like Heechul from Super Junior. His voice cracked just ONCE and he got so much hate for it he stopped wanting for singing parts. It took him so long to get over it and finally started singing solos & duets & his voice is amazing. Yizhou made the same mistake but stood up so well after it. For those who just only judge Luo Yi Zhou by this one performance then I am gonna tellin you the newest episode Luo Yi Zhou take the risk and he is under pressure cause nobody on his team wanna take risk on doing the high notes! If you watch the team A performance even their center didn't do the high notes but let other member take the lead whereas here, Yi Zhou is a center, he need to dance while pulling off that high notes. Luo Yizhou somehow reminds me of Kang Daniel. He was so underrated at the beginning of PD101 but ended up being at the number 1 position at the end. I hope the same thing happens to Yizhou. The reason why i respect luo yizhuo so much is because of his great personality. I remember watching the full ep (a few eps ago) when the trainees had to fight for the songs they wanted. Even though yizhou’s teammate didnt manage to pick the song they wanted, yizhou was very warm hearted and encouraged everyone to still be happy with their song choice. He also comforted his teammate who felt very bad for not getting the song. So different compared to tony... i remember when tony’s teammate didnt get the song, tony joked about wanting to kill the teammate which made the teammate feel even worse :/ love yizhou for his maturity and leadership !
