I learnt a lot from this interview, the message this interview conveyed is priceless. Damilare a true Nigerian, in fact most times the southern Nigeria has the interest of Nigeria at heart, irrespective of their religion or ethnicity, Damilare is 💯% a Yoruba man and a Yoruba man is the sitting president of Nigeria yet he's this vocal against how the ordinary Nigerians been treated by their political class, he is against injustice and wastages of the politicians, the one on the panel may God have mercy on him, a true northern oligarch, he just displayed their way of life and perspectives of Nigeria, not minding the suffering and hardship the majority in the north are going through as long as the few political bigmen, the traditional rulers, imams and their friends are ok to hell with the rest, this is who they are, their interest first, but time will tell, nothing last forever especially evil.

Murtala has indirectly said his view, he is against the protest. He said we have been protesting and have not seen any good, therefore, it's not the best idea. Let me remind him that in this country every government has promised heaven and earth, yet we have not seen any good results.
@judeikwuegbu151Ай бұрын
He is already compromised, by the way he was speaking; he will consult, elders, consult with imams, consult with this and that, this is indirect way of saying I am not in support, he is well fed, look at him, does he look hungry? No and he is speaking on behalf of millions of youths who don't know where the next meal will come from.

I am sorry to say that it is a mistake to say that Abuja would not be available for protest. To start with, Abuja is owned by all including the protesters. It would have been an opportunity for the government to show good will and be able to protect the protesters. To say that it is not available is like shooting yourselves on the leg. I hope they should correct this mistake
@agbadimusa9365Ай бұрын
The protest present an opportunity for the government but it does not see it as so because it's not trained to do so.
@horlaraftailoring6696Ай бұрын
according to our government, the protesters are not citizen of the country, so they don't have the right to express themself, yet we still celebrate Independence Day and democracy day because we are not independent and there is no democracy in nigeria. when dele farotimi was explaining to use the meaning of citizen we weren't paying attention to him. maybe now we will understand better. we are not citizens of Nigeria, our government needs to let us know where we belong.

@henryeferemo1088Ай бұрын
The young people have come out on TV to make themselves visible. To say they are faceless at this point is a nonstarter. Protest does not require majority it is everyone’s right to make their voice heard peacefully. The government should provide security by collaborating with the protesters so that the protest is not hijacked. The government should see this as a feedback and use it as an opportunity to improve Nigerians. I advise Murtala to see himself as the representative of the almajiris; if that is the case does he understand that a society that keeps them in that state is depriving them of their human rights. This includes he himself who looks very well cared for and does not seem to be aware that some go to bed without food in their tommies. Having said that, we clarify that peaceful activism is always more productive.

We want a peaceful protest and the security agencies should ensure that the protest is conducted peacefully and be on the watch for for people who will want to degenerate the protest and pick them out. 4.
