This video is one of the reasons I came back to the Church. After my mother passed away I struggled with my faith. This talk from Sr Bethany Madonna showed me that I am never alone and that no matter what happens or wherever I go, that I have a family in the Church.

I had no idea about nuns until I saw The Sound of Music on TV. Then in 2008 I was in the city of Sydney so I walked on down to the park to see what was going down with World Youth Day. I met religious workers and I saw relics and a casket containing the remains of a saint who died in the 1920s in Italy. If people ask my religion I state 'Church of England', which is mainly a statement of my ethnicity. Samesex marriage is coming to Australia. That is my reading of the current campaign and postal vote. But the Catholic Church will still persist.
