more of the talent part in a lot of ways. he has prosound backlit gameboys. which means he either bought them online or is awesome in every way and made them himself and made such an awesome song with what i would assume to be lsdj. He just connected the gameboys to a turntable so he was basically live mixing two chiptune beats at once. In short, he's awesome.

Why thank you! That's cool :D On the Green DMG is the lead, bass, side synth, noise kick and noise snare. The Yellow DMG simply just has has a WAV kick which has the same pattern as the noise kick. So using two types of kick drum sounds was how I got that sound.

That is true, it's always nice to know what other people are using in their setups. Ah that sounds like it would be a nice setup, by the way you can't do midi out from LSDJ unless you use Trash80's modified version. I have no idea if he did release it though. If you ever get this setup done, post a video response to this one. I would love to see how it turns out in the end.

Thank you Gam3Junkie. I don't mind that my older work doesn't grab you to like it and personally everyone has their own music tastes but as time goes on, artists expand their creativity and experiment to learn more to hopefully get better at the thing they love. For artists like Shirobon and Sabrepulse, they have come a long way since they started and their sound has grown into something great. What's the difference, well I'm no where as good as them at this and we all have different sounds.

As I suspected.. couldn't see any other cables, but it's always good to ask and not assume! I haven't had the chance to try LSDJ yet, still looking around for some stuff and info/tips on how to set things up. My plan is to MIDI-sync something to control the GB (or the other way around), add a drum machine and and a synth perhaps and run it all through a regular mixer with guitar fx as sends, for easy distribution of fx and control over the sound. Might not be soon, but there WILL be videos! :)
