My brother in law asked about this and was told it could only be done for 1 side of the brain. Any neurologists out there with a reply as to why?

I believe it can be done to both but there has to be a wait between procedures. I think I read 6 months but I'm not certain enough to be sure!

My wife suffering with parkinson since last 18 years. However she is still on her own. But her trembling, frequent fall and gradual memory loss are now appearent. Can this trial help her. She is 68 years age. Pl reply.
