The pre-chorus goes - "You told me to look straight into the light, that the angels are all coming down for you tonight" - It's easier to tell what the singer is saying if you watch the music video of the original version of the song. You can see her mouth moving and there isn't as much distortion. The second time she says the pre-chorus, she says something else, "You told me to look straight into the light, that the heavens are openin' up for you tonight."
