There is one big difference between Reece and Weslay. Reece Hamstrings are made of papaer. Were as for Weslay its different inujuries. So i have slightly higher hopes for Weslay to come back and stay fit for longer periods of time. How ever with Badiashile out injured too we should act in upcoming January Window. Its not just in the last year of a players contract.. its the entirety of the contract players have full control over whether they stay or go. Thats the only issue I have when I see things like this being said. Whilst I agree with the principle of it, unless like you've said theres a clause in their contracts that if an offer comes in and the club accept the player has to initial agree to the move, and has to accept any offer within a certain percentage of what they demand. Then the club cannot sell a player unless he agrees to the move 😂

Badiashile out would only be okay if we get the best version of Tosin or Disasi. Tosin is reliable, Disasi is decent when not playing RB and that would be dependent on Gusto, not getting injured. We are seeing Veiga is also a good option for CB role, which is also a plus.

Fofana was supposed to be our world class signing at CB. We should approach the window in January or Summer with the mindset that our CB target should be replacing that role. So not a young prospect for the future like Anselmino, or a scouting gem like Veiga. A steady, younger or in prime, consistent, elite talent. Josh needs to be the young guy just behind pushing that player. Desasi and Benoit are not it. Veiga could push to be the guy that pushes Colwill. Love him at LCB. But we need a raise in level at RCB and some sales.
