I see this happen a lot especially in lower ELO. Mid comes to help the Jng, Jng gets out but thinks he needs to stay to help mid, mid thinks this means that Jng wants to go back in so he pushs, this makes jng think mid wants to go in so he is hovering. Everyone is losing time and both end up baiting each other into a fight neither of them actually wants and they die. Sometimes happens with the whole team too. I find its often best if you don't want to go in just leave, if you hover it can make people think you want to go in when you don't. Alternatively you can ping a lot but people sometimes tunnel vision on the fight and the map and movements and get an idea in their head about what is happening and the pings are just missed - again especially in low ELO
