Fantastic Adam. There was a lot in there mate. The tent performed well in a fine location. As for the bag I've just looked it up. I'll be checking it out. You're right hot drinks taste better outdoors. Loving the memory creation. Beautifully filmed. All the best. Mark

Thank you Mark, it was so good to get out on a 'proper' camp again. As for the bag - just another plus point, so easy to pack away - was such a chore with my old bulky bag, this was a breeze to pack away - deffo another plus point! Will be gettin a brew & watching your latest soon - will be in touch. All the best Mark, thanks 👍

A pleasure Adam. Beautiful moments there. I'm glad the bag is working out. Result! Yeah in your own time. Peace!

Nice place to pitch and despite the bin bag look a like, it looked a sound investment to me in weight and warmth. I am always amazed when I see people drinking ice cold beer before bed on a winters wildcamp, I am with you a hot drink every time lol. You caught a couple of cracking shots and a canny walk out in the sun, cheers Alan

Ha Ha - Don't get me wrong, I did have a couple of cheeky tinnies earlier on! But yes as I said a brew on a camp always tastes better! Thanks as ever Alan, like you, hoping for an adventure filled 2020! Kind regards to you & Mrs Metalman 😀

Thats a cracking location for pitching up Adam. I just sent for one of those Aegismax Nano 2 bags, which looks similar to the TerraHiker. I don't normally use down products as I have a mild allergy to it, but sometimes you just have to use the right tool for the job. I can tolerate it for an overnight trip which is what most of my trips are lately. Stay safe mate.

Hi Andy - I am currently out of action myself at present - for reasons beyond my control, but desperate to get a camp in soon - That Aegismax looks great, you will have to let me know how you get on with it. All the best Andy - Adam

It was fab. Still after a camp in the snow though! But yes to Staffordshire! But may well have to head deeper into the Peaks for a snowcamp! Thanks for watching & comments! Always appreciated 👍

Lovely 😊 can I ask are the soloists the normal or XL sizes, I’m 5’11”” tall and unsure what to get.
@justgetoutthereguy3 жыл бұрын
Hi Adrian, mine is the standard size - I too am 5'11" and fit comfortably. Just a matter of personal preference, if you do want a little extra space, perhaps the XL might be for you. I was just looking at keeping the weight down for when I go on longer hikes. Thanks for watching - Adam 👍🏼

@@justgetoutthereguy Hi Adam, thanks so much for the response, if that size is fine for you it will be for me too, I just missed out on the Alpkit Black Friday deal but live close to Keswick so maybe I can persuade them to give me a deal if I get the footprint too, thanks once again and happy hiking 👍🏻

Hi, very good video. Do you have any issues erecting the tent when it's raining. Is it possible to cover the inner with the flysheet when your doing the inner? Regards Terence
@justgetoutthereguy4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Terence, pleased to report that yes, in heavy rain and strong winds, just a couple of days ago on the Nantlle ridge in Snowdonia, I was able to secure flysheet first, then attach inner in the dry! Very pleased. Video to be uploaded soon, sadly didn't film setting up tent, was just so keen to get out of the rain! Thanks for watching ATB Adam 👍

Good video - gave a clear picture of the camp and lovely views without being overlong - could I ask what sleeping mat do you use and how do you rate it?
@justgetoutthereguy5 жыл бұрын
Hi Paul, thank you for comments. I use the Alpkit Cloudbase, and find it excellent. Lightweight, easy to inflate, comfortable. It's hard to single out decent mats these days as there are so many on the market. But I continue to be pleased with the performance of this one 👍 All the best, Adam

How was the down bag and what did the temperature go down to ?
@justgetoutthereguy4 жыл бұрын
Hi Gary, sorry for late reply - been using it again in the Lake District no signal! Yes bag has performed really well - not too sure about below freezing temperatures however, but love the way it packs down easily and so light! Very happy with it 😀 all the best Adam
