What a beautiful card!! Thanks for sharing! Also, just a couple tips to get better coverage the first time through- Heat up the lamintor for about 25-30 minute prior to running your first piece through. And add a piece of card stock underneath the Foil-Mate piece to increase the pressure and to move the panel closer to the heating element that comes from the top of the laminator. That should make it easier and you should only have to run it through one time. You are so talented! That card layout and your color choices are stunning! XO And your video and explanation was fantastic!

+StampTV with Gina K. 😍😍 did you really respond to my video or am I dreaming?! 😍😍 Yes! I totally forgot about the extra card stock for added pressure. I watched your video and now remember you doing that. I will definitely remember to try that next time. Love the foil-mates! I never got into foiling because I felt I didn't have the right equipment, but the preprinted sentiments are perfect!! Thank you for taking the time to watch my video and comment!! 💜💜

You can pick up inexpensive laser printers. I think mine was about $50+ at Walmart. You can do so many cool designs yourself and customize your sentiments. Love mine.

Beautiful! check with your local library, ours use laser printers. you could design some things in word, email yourself the file and go print them out. I think mine charges like .20 cents a page or something like that. just a thought :)

Beautiful card! You've shown in a very clear and simple fashion how to use the products! 👏 😍 and re the spots that didn't pick up - I have the same issue, I have a laser printer and have never managed to get perfect 100% coverage - and anyway... it's hand made! they aren't supposed to be perfect right?! 😂

Absolutely gorgeous!!! I was pleased to hear I can print backgrounds and sentiments on a laser printer. (I bought one several months ago to produce square dance flyers.) Could you tell me where I could find that info?
@CrazyPaperChick7 жыл бұрын
Hi Nikki, what info where you trying to find? Where you can print backgrounds and sentiments?
@LilCraftyNook7 жыл бұрын
Yes, I guess, or a general how to on using a laser printer to make foil cards. Thanks!
@CrazyPaperChick7 жыл бұрын
I would just google images or sentiments. You can also type your own and print them out which I think is the best! You would still need a laminator or I have seen a video using an iron. Having the laser printer that uses the toner allows for the foil to stick when it is reheated. You wouldn't use the laser printer to make the foil cards. Hope that makes sense and that is what you meant. Let me know if I totally misunderstood you, lol :)

I found a bunch of free printables online and saved them to my computer. I'm going to save them on a thumb drive and take them to my Kinko's and print them on cardstock so I will have lots of images to foil.

Hi! Do you know if nail foil would work for this instead of the brand you're using? I'm not able to get stuff like Heidi Swap Minc foil or Deco Foil but I've found some foil online that's for nails that looks similar.
