Gina, when using the leftover foil, it doesn't matter whether it is toner foil or hot foil. They both work on polyglaze and toner sheets. The difference between the two foils is hot foil has a glue in it and the toner foil does not

Every time I use hot foil, I get foil in places I don't want it. The heat makes it transfer even in places where there is no toner or no Poly-Glaze.

Just watched this. I have a regular laminator. BUT JUST ordered your fuse machine and the carrier sheets. I have found that the laminator has not been satisfactory over the past. 6 yrs. So as of now it’s regulate to laminating only.

They are gorgeous & beautiful, just like you 😊The leaf colors are very suitable for fall; green was the best choice. (Green is my favorite color & I like asparagus). I do not have the foiling supplies so I will not be making those projects,; I may be able to improvise experimentally. . . We like Tom's words & phrases of the day; they add to the joy of your presentation 😀.

QUESTION; Hi Gina, loving your videos on foiling. I’m only new to card making and my kids bought me a laminator and some foil to play with but I’m not having much luck. Your videos have explained lots. I have a question about printing. You said that you could use the variety of toner sheets, poly glaze etc., but also laser printed images. Do you mean any laser printer is ok for the images for foiling or only certain types or brands of laser printer. I have to replace my old printer anyway, so I may as well by a laser printer if I can also utilise it for foiling. Would love to know what you think. Cheers Vee

I have found that Canon laser printers work really well for foiling. Some people also like Brother laser printers. They work pretty well. Laminators work okay. You will get better results with the Fuse for foiling. ❤

I am so confused about the fuse system. I understand the machine itself but get lost with the accessories. Are poly glaze sheets the main way to foil? Do TOW foil packs work with the FUSE? What are TOW foil sheets? What are poly glaze stencils? Are there dies for the poly glaze sheets? Basically, if I were to buy this, what do I need to also purchase to get started and use the machine (a beginner’s bundle type thing)? Do I need toner foil sheets (and what are they)? I know this is a lot of questions but I feel a little overwhelmed with the terms and what goes with/works with what.

Thank you for the welcome for rewatchers. We were doing just what you said at starting time, getting ready. The wind picked up quite a lot and ripped our flag before we were able to get it down and there were a few other things that needed to be brought in. Still just wind at 5 pm but rain is expected to start soon. We are not on the coast so hopefully will not have much damage. Thank you for caring.
