Beautiful to see. You can imagine the sheer exhilaration of the young men who flew these aircraft in WW1. They returned to the air again and again, knowing that they may be killed at any time. Even those who were injured couldn’t wait to fly again.

Seeing those folks standing in the line of the propeller arc was freaking me out. Yes 99.999% no issues but we stand behind that arc with much smaller RC planes and it’s still good practice!

This aircraft is built and flown by Mikael Carlsson from Sweden. Its fabricated according to original blueprints and made of all the correct materials. Engine is ofcourse allso original. Mikael is a quite unique aircraft builder and a very skilled pilot.
