Thank you for the video. I just got this 3d printer, and this helped confirm I made the right choice. Can't wait to try mine out.

This will be my second 3d printer. My first being a printrbot 1405.

That’s awesome! This is printer... 14 or 15 for me? I started in a Creality Ender 3. This Fokoos brings a lot to the table for this price point though!

Great review!!! You just mad them more money. I have an ender 5 pro and was looking for a second. This will be a great addition to my 3d printer family. Subscribed.😀

very good review. ordered one today. Thank you for the review. oh ya....is this shipped from China??????
@plasticmakesperfect58633 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the delay in responding, but you’re very welcome and thank you for the kind words! I think it depends where you order it to determine where it ships from, but it is made in China regardless. Thanks for watching and happy printing!

Does the fact it will not render an image of your model if sliced with Cura an indication you can't use Cura to slice with? If so what do you slice with?
@plasticmakesperfect58633 жыл бұрын
I forget what it’s called, but I think it’s a Cura plugin… I’ll do some research and get back to you.

Where are these made?

Sorry for the late reply. I’m not sure off the top of my head, but I’m willing to blindly wager it’s China.

Has anyone printed TPU with this one? If so how did they run out? Did you do any modifications?
@plasticmakesperfect58633 жыл бұрын
I haven’t had a chance to print TPU with this printer, but I’m confident that it can do so since it has direct drive. There’s a Fokoos Facebook group that recently had a post for someone who did TPU prints and it seemed to come out nicely. Sorry that’s not the best answer. Thanks for watching!

It's more like an artillery than a creality ender series. And both direct drive and bowden have the pros and cons
@plasticmakesperfect58633 жыл бұрын
I said Creality Ender series because most folks who are just getting into 3D printing seem to be aware of the Creality Ender 3 if nothing else. Yes, you are right that this is more like an Artillery. You are also right that both extrusion methods have their pros and cons. Basically everything in life has pros and cons. Thanks for watching.

similar to Artillery Genius

Ha, yeah you’re not wrong. I feel like this is getting to be the case more and more with just about everything. I mean hell… it’s hard to even tell phones apart anymore. Sometimes I think a company gets a good design and then it’s just a race to the bottom in terms of who can sell it the cheapest. I haven’t gotten my hands on the Genius yet though, so I can’t speak intelligent about a comparison between the two.
