I'm a newbie but have been using your videos to help me along and over time I hope to get better. My wife really likes some of things i have made for her. I consider myself a good craftsman with wood and have built many things around the homestead. I'm pretty sure my wife thinks i just pick up the forging metalwork naturally :o) But really I'm getting everything from your videos :o) You explain everything in detail that I can understand. I thank you for sharing your knowledge!!

I’m a newby. I have enjoyed all of your videos. I like the detailed explanations. I just finished 3 metal roses following your video. My wife said they were beautiful but she says that about everything I build. I have a wood shop and added a forge about 6 months ago. I’m trying to fuse the two together. I turned vases for all the roses. Keep up the good work. It was the name of your forge that lead me to watch the first one. May god bless your and your family in all your endeavors.

Good job wife on the editing! :) Wish my wife would have edited my videos hah. I quit youtube whenever I realized I was making less than $1/hour. I loved doing it, but it was really stressing my time as it has nothing to do with my real job. At least your are a blacksmith so your recording is part of the job lol.

Yup, KZbin definitely requires a TON of value upfront, before you ever start making any sort of money out of it. Thanks for checking out our video! ~Jessica

I have a question, I just acquired a mouse hole anvil, in not bad shape but doesn't have sone semi deep groves of face and rolled edges on face from years of use. After seeing a lot of posts of people saying don't touch wit grinder or flapper wheel, should I feel bad f I want to touch up so it won't chip off when using it? I think a maintenance shop has been using it verses a black smith shop. I understand that it is very old, but want to use it for what it was intended for, thank you. For advice in advance.
