In the past I've tried with unmodified Nakamura bases and it never worked out too well. From my notes/memory... Observation: Plane more often not nose dives. Theory: The plane is too front-heavy/CG is too far fore.

It does! You’ll need to fold fins at the edges of the wings and throw it very gently though.

You have to make sure the back corners of your plane lineup as well as the edges. If the nose of the plane goes down give the back of the wings, a little bit of up-elevator. If your plane goes to the left or right give it some rudder adjustment.

I know how to perfectly tune the planes, and I can also throw pretty hard (even for an adult). That’s probably the main difference (rather than the format of the paper).
