Thanks. You could use buttons if your machine does button holes. Or sew two lengths of small cord into the top seam instead of the studs tab. Then after rolling it up wrap the cords around and tie a knot

Great bag! It’s almost like you could make two and put one inside the other. Also, who makes the doggie fabric?!

The doggy fabric was a limited run of water resistant cotton canvas that we sold. It’s all gone now

Hi to you both. Fantastic pattern, thank you. I think it will be great for my holiday next September. Jo, did you use fast fuse interfacing? Or do you think that may be too firm? Cheers 🙂

I used a mixture of interfacings to use up left over pieces. Its definitely fine to use for the exterior panels but I wouldn’t use it on the pocket pieces as well to reduce the bulky seams.
