Hi bro. Am inspired by your bike building videos and decided to get Fnhon Gust frame. After jumping the gun, I am so shocked to see the various brands for parts to choose from. I hope you can give some advise here. I am looking for 406 instead of 451 since many people commented on better comfort. While choosing for rims, I am considering silver rock or litepro. I am leaning towards the litepro brand since it is cheaper. However, would like to know if there are better benefit to choosing silver rock. Thanks for your advise...

Bifold have larger wheels. I like bike with latger wheels. slightly faster. but smaller wheel with wider tyres are more stable too !!!

Hi bro, is the 451 Litepro wheelset more superior than your Silverock? Which factor did you consider the most? Beauty or weight?

He definitely bought it for the gold tone. Litepro S42, Deca cattiva, and silverock 451 are all using the same rim which has a rim code S42 (or 42mm aero deep to state the obvious), with each brand just slapped their own sticker brand on it, and laced to their own version of generic hub. The rim is disgustingly heavy at 540g per rim with no real benefits of being aero, but if you still want it to be decent, it would be better to pick this rim laced to novatec hub.

@@Poogiezilla i get what you mean. Im using 406 Litepro rims and total up weight is 1900g. Thats why im asking why is he changing to Litepro 451. By the way, since we are talking about rims, i wanted to try carbon rims; not wheelset because they cost a bomb. What are your thoughts about using carbon rims and is/are there any particular detail/brand that i need to focus on?

@@soulevolution2735 Personally, I'm not into carbon rim for folding bike. I just don't see the benefit of installing one. Folding bikes in general are neither a racing or lightweight nor designed to have an aero tubing to even make sense installing a carbon wheelset, It just doesn't fit into the whole build so I think people are doing it mostly for aesthetic. Anyway, I've seen a few carbon rims on aliexpress (silverock brand seems the popular one), and I've seen some people are using it (on folding bike forums) but I don't have a personal experience with the brand to share with you.
