Line-X would be my choice of outside coating if I ever build something like that... I prefer to use my trailer carrying stuff, a freezer, and my solar generator... I got to recharge my e-bike, so I use a tent to sleep...

If it's drying too fast, then you're using too much hardener, BUT that also depends what you think is too fast, to 10 to 15 mins is what I usually shoot for...

If that body filler stinks and uses a hardener to cure I can't imagine it being anything other than the same thing as Bondo. Polyester resin based product. Epoxy doesn't have a strong smell
