7c7x, 5c5x, 67s, 87s might be bluffs. But people don't find them often.

great video! thank you Steffen, the AcQc nut flush hand, this is why you're an elite player. I would call most of the time, and lose to fullhouse like every time, then blame myself why the f**k I was not aware the obvious betting pattern. And cool down, review the hand, calculate the value/bluff combos. in the best-case scenario, BTN may flat 65cc/76cc preflop, and river he overbet flush to get max value from my Kx??? really hard to believe this is the case.

10:14 could be 8 6 suited.. blocks the sets and gets countered on the river. I guess we'll never know ;)

@@joelkay2217 haha noo i was being serious, if you never face a raise (or only face it when against KK) then I think its better to build a polar 300% betting range. Steffens range is still decently wide here, even vs a $4000 bet he cant just defend with 88 and KK, or hed be overfolding. The only valid reason to just use the 150% sizing is if you value bet flushes to that size too and thus Steffen raises all in with 66+ and bluffs, but if he lacks those raise bluffs or if he just calls 66 for example which I think is the case... 300% is better.

@@bebla8381 yes but he’s never getting value with the call from the flush if hero can’t find an overbet bluff, villains range turns incredibly polar if he 4x pot, it’s either Kings full, quads or nothing. I think an overbet is good from villian, gets calls from the nut flush or worse boats if he does have kings or quads, I just don’t think in that pot you can overbet 4x pot/ shove because hero can’t call off with a flush when he can’t find a bluff, he’s quite simply bluff catching with his hand which is unfortunate when you turn the effective nuts

8s or ks hands, i could see solver bluffing with basic set blockers that are back doors, think combos would balance out with sets and maybe high flushes if he has them in his flat range

Yes but AQ is really not the best bluffcatcheur here, blocking bluff AcJ AcQ, unblocking fulls. K8 K6 K4 even 76 or lower flushes are better

Yeah I'm not folding here where villain has proven to use some crazy bluff lines. They might not use standard preflop ranges but even if they do, they would play worse flushes exactly like this IMO. And then there's some bluffs like AxJc, QxJc, some random low pocket pairs with a club etc. that creative bluffers could find.

It’s funny how people still come up with hands nobody is really over-calling and betting these sizes there … and sure, against some known maniac - we call this all day. But in the end I like the call and ur logic there was on point, I would say 🤷🏼‍♂️ I guess, still - we like to be nonbelievers if we have strong hands 😄

Hi steff, actually AQc cant really be a pure bluffcatcher; you are capped in terms of houses since ur sets are pretty much pure x/r flop vs 1/3 bet flop; He can easily play 55 77 with a club the way he did he might go for the over value river bet with JTc 9Tc to get calls from AK KQ kJ with one club. Yes he will for sure have houses as played and mentionned but you cant really fold this high up of value hand beatting some little values and some bluffs just based on a pure exploitative approach. especially players of these limits are capable of showing up with the right bluffs. That's my opinion
