It is so funny to hear Mick talk about seeing the Horror Nights Scareactors backstage during his TNA run. I worked for Halloween Horror nights during this time, and i remember him coming and talking to us while our makeup and blood were being applied! The first time he came over, i was being worked on and my eyes were closed. I had no idea who was talking but remember thinking to myself “dang-this guy is talking A LOT!” (sorry Mick 😂) He was always so nice to us, and i remember how psyched so many of us were to meet him. Thank you, Mick!

One thing I just do not get. Vince McMahon, yes, he had success, but, all I ever hear is, "if not for McMahon I wouldn't". Believe it or not, if not for the skill talent and passion people like Mick offered (as well as ideas), WWE wouldn't be nearly as successful. The fans in general don't love McMahon's amazing business practices, they love the characters and performances of the wrestlers. There's a reason McMahon wanted WWE attached to anything and everything a current or former wrestler might be doing, it got media attention, it was NOT solely a generous heart. I'm not demonising the man, but attaching WWE to people past and present helps HIS brand and was something he clearly knew and capitalised on.

I think he summed up everyday life for most of us when he rear view mirrored TNA and said to enjoy it for what it is and not knock it for what it isn’t. Positive vibes for Joe!

I just wish fans in general could simply enjoy (or simply don't watch and don't bother discussing) an alternative wrestling product. WWE has had a pretty big head start and are well established. TNA and now AEW have some silly and unrealistic expectations from fans.

I know lots of people have mixed feelings about his run in TNA, or outright didn't like it, but for my money, I loved it for several reasons. A) as a kid, I was always let down by his short title reigns. Seeing him hold a world title for more than a month, was a real treat for me personally. It was even cool seeing him win the Legends Championship and thought he worked well with Nash. B) Mick still had what I thought were exquisite mic skills. He brought his full personality and ability to emote and put it on full display during his promos. Some of the promos he had with guys like Sting were just great to watch. C) I enjoyed the matches for what they were. Sure they were slower than they usually were, but they all had this ebb and flow to them. Mick still told great stories in that ring.

51:18 Mick was so right about Dixie Carter with the whole inclusive aspect. I remember when TNA was first doing house shows, with AJ, Matt Morgan and Scott Steiner, etc... and at the end of the show you got to get autographs with them. So as much as people speak negative against Dixie Carter, I thought her doing that was really awesome.

The Lou Ferrigno story is embarrassing. It's like when a parent sends their kid to school on a field trip but doesn't give them money for lunch. Any professional company would NEVER allow their employee/talent to front the bill without prior knowledge, especially when it's a substantial amount.

Only thing more sad than Foley having his last matches in TNA was Kurt Angle wrestling in TNA for a majority of his career. Both of them completely worn down physically and mentally by the end of their runs there. Still, WWE was hot garbage and still is. Both of them would have been better off staying on a show that people actually watched.

I wonder why Barry Bloom accompanied Mick to Huntsville this week... I speculate - Conrad's been leaving a trail of breadcrumbs, which may be leading to one of two things: -A revolutionary new business venture [definitely Not a promotion] that will finally turn the corner on the [not a] wrestling promotion TV format. -An empty sandwich wrapper. A new & exciting digital streaming platform allows for storylines developed on the fly via 24/7 video clips. This approach could really blur the line. Would love to work with you Conrad. We have much in common, I believe we'd get along like BMFBFF's. I'm a HELL on an artist and visionary and have an encyclopedic passion for the history of wrestling.

Mick also thinks he was an average wrestler in terms of mechanics where anybody looking at his body of work knows he's being hard on himself. Oh, his in ring performance in TNA was average and he was only in that spot due to previous history but his mic work was as great as ever and his ideas about putting the matches together were as immaculate as ever. I wish this guy felt comfortable booking or managing because he'd be a natural at both (I'd also love to see him commentating without Vince in his ear!).

@@UFCWWE69 I know what Flair said and I honestly don't care. Foley knows his psychology and how to piece a match together. His body sometimes doesn't cash those checks, it's true, but in terms of psychology he's a top ten. Hell, he's a top three. At least his matches VARY. How many times have we seen Flair do the exact same match ad infinitum? If we're gonna quote anybody let's quote Bret Hart who said Flair's style is 'ancient.' I adore Flair by the way but you can pick holes with every wrestler if you want to.
