Joint project of the Giorgi Aleksidze Tbilisi Contemporary Ballet Company and Tbilisi State Chamber Orchestra - Georgian Sinfonietta.
Mariam Aleksidze’s contemporary ballet FOLIA premiered in 2018 within the framework of Tbilisi Baroque Festival.
Under the Musical Direction of Giorgi Kerelashvili, the musical version of the performance unites the works by Antonio Vivaldi, Francesco Geminiani, Andrea Falconieri and Georg Friedrich Handel to the theme of Folia as well as Antonio Vivaldi’s Stabat Mater.
