I definitely saw something with the yellow the first time you said that (on the white). That's a very pretty dark golden color that it shifts to, I like the subtle color shift. I do prefer the more obvious shifts though that's for sure.

I love this paint. I got all 10 colors for about $20 when using the coupons from Michaels over the course of a few weeks. The instructions say 2 hours between coats and fully cures in 24 hours. I'm using them on certain areas on my miniature figures for some of games I'm painting. Let's just say I have some purple flash cockroaches from Mice and Mystics. :)

Paints like this do best when painted over a glossy black surface.

The Testor's color shift spray paint recommends their color shift black primer, but any black primer will work. I'm glad Folk Art makes this, I was about to order some GizmoDorks color shift paint in a 15ml dropper bottle that cost more than the Folk Art.

Does this indicate that the colourshif paint will show better on a canvas primed with black instead of white?

you could use urethanes / polyurethanes colorshift pearls for car paints and use an airbrush instead of these paints to a 10x more vibrant results
