When you find a Garnet Rogers performance that you’ve never heard before, for some reason it always feels like you just got really lucky, like you found it “just in time”, because, well, who knows what would have happened? But you know, for sure, that whatever it was that was happening before, it all feels a lot better now. Thank you, Garnet. Great performance. PS if anyone who knows him personally reads this, can you make sure he knows that those 2 guys in Edmonton that always want to play Sleeping Buffalo with him are no longer willing to accept his excuse that it’s a “guitar breaker”, okay? 😅 Trust me, Garnet, we will bring you guitars to break. As many as it takes. 😊 Maybe somewhere closer to your backyard if Edmonton is too “out of the way” for you these days. 😇 (I’m mostly kidding)

Garnet is just so wonderful. Summer's End is breathtaking. This album delivered me a one two punch on first listen. Summer's End (2) is a song that transforms me back to child and forward to times unknown and I am so grateful to have heard it right here and now.
