Delighted to listen to this magnificent treat in the soulful voice of the great Mehdi Hassan Saab for the very first time ! Although the language was not fully intelligible, the underneath meaning was quite understood, owing to the way in which it was rendered ! What a heart - rending performance it was ! How soulfully did the great Khan Saab perform it ! What a wonderful feeling it has been ! I have enjoyed it thoroughly ! thoroughly ! "Bahut Hi Chain Mila Sunkar !" Besides being an excellent exponent of ghazal gayiki, the great Khan Saab had an uncanny ability to render the Punjabi Tappe with equal proficiency and consummate ease ! ...Such a resourceful singer will ever tread this path again in the world ! The illustrious career of the great Mehdi Hassan Saab spanning over almost six decades, as a singer of exceptional merit, will amply testify to this fact !
