I am diagnosed case of Follicular Lymphoma. Received RCHOP in 2014 inMumbai. Now Recently in 2023 I received six cycles of BR. I have treatment complete now. Taking Inj. Rituximap 600 mg in Nacl infusion maintainence dose. Can you sir help me to stop Recurrence of Lymphoma. 🙏Please😊

Hi ma'am. I am from Pakistan. My father had diagnosed with follicular lymphoma 2years ago...he had lymph node and showing only one symptom i-e weight loss.. Otherwise he has no fever, sweating and fatigue..Should he go for chemotherapy??

I am probably your dad's age and also have follicular lymphoma. My understanding is that night sweats/fevers etc are less common and may indicate that the indolent lymphoma has turned aggressive (couple of percent chance of that per year). Chemo is still recommended for indolent follicular lymphoma where a tumour is larger than 7cm or there are several medium size tumours - and I imagine, if your dad has lost more than 10% of his prior weight in six months. Please note however I am not a doctor and your dad would be advised to take medical advice.
