There is no better Introduction to the world of "beyond beginner" and "intermediate blender" than Grant. I do rate the donut as a great introduction to blender, but once you have done that. Grant is the man.

Grant, I've been following you for years now. I can say I have modeling under my belt. Would you consider making animation tutorials? It is so hard to find them on YT. believe it or not, they really are scarce. Walking cycle, running, anything will do.

hi Grant, just discovered this gold mine of a channel a few days ago, and been following along. Love your style of teaching! Maybe to clear up some confusion on the chat delay and the Discord "Streamer Mode". The chat delay is usually just part of live streaming as your data has to be uploaded to youtube and then there transmitted to the rest of the world, then the people watching hear it and reply which also has to be transmitted to you for you to see it. That ping pong just takes some time hence streaming usually isnt in real time. However there might be an option in your stream settings, either on your streaming software or on KZbin where you can select faster processing/transmission, unfortunately i am uncertain as to where you need to look but maybe a quick google can help you with that. And for streamer mode on discord, it mostly just mutes all the notifications and turns on automatically when you start your streaming software, you can turn it off if you want to on discord. It doesn't change usernames or anything like that, so for example the person named "S..." was literally just named like that ^^ I wish you all the best, your content is amazing!

very nice Grant, Blender I had a mental block with for years, now suddenly the block is gone and Blender awesomeness is exciting me, yes a steep learning curve but little by little...

Thank you for uploading not only tutorials but also live videos of these series! I've learned so much from your courses and tutorials. I'm sorry to ask you in a YT comment section but when I am working on a smaller part of the body like ears, hands or in this video's case legs, I often have trouble with the topology and end up having weird twists here and there. Do you have any tips on how I can improve in these areas?

How do you make it into a high poly then? Out of all the videos all of your videos are the best so far that I’ve come across as an intermediate 3D artist.

You can add a subdivision surface modifier

I thought he just started the stream lol, I arrived at the end and went for 5minutes or so at least 10mins, and he stopped streaming. :c Man that's a bad timing for me for the stream, but at least I made it in before it ended and can still follow along.

How do you make it triangular afterwards, like on the video thumbnail? I like the triangular style much-much more. Is it just triangulation modifier applied + some minor sculpting/vertex wiggling?
@grabbitt Жыл бұрын
Decimate modifier helps. Or use ctrl t

I'm trying to remember you said if someone asked you to make a fox, and rigged and animated it you would charge £200 for it, you can make serious money from Blender?
@grabbitt Жыл бұрын
You can make ok money but it's not huge. Remember that is a lot of to and fro with clients and lots of edits
