Follow Jesus: Against the Path of Sanctimoniousness (Mark 7:1-13)

Man's fallen condition is always inclined towards producing hypocritical purity and superficial holiness. This tendency undermines the true meaning of purity and holiness. Our goal is to be reminded that purity and holiness do not depend on following traditions, trying to fulfill the Law, or being active in the church, but solely on Christ. Jesus was set apart by His Father for His people. He is the God-given solution for His people, providing sanctification and justification by faith. This requires sincerity and depth in knowing who Christ is.
