A tip here from the Stitchwizard63: Balloons... maybe Jens knows this... if you’re hand sewing something that is thick, and it is difficult to grasp the needle while stitching, a balloon will increase the grip factor (friction, yah!) and allow you to pull on the needle more easily. I always keep a balloon in my sewing kit for this purpose. 🧵🪡💜

Ooo ooo make a squishy thing with the balloons. Like flour or rice in it, for stress relief. You can use both balloons for the one squishy. Use some expired flour or baking soda.

You can make a stress ball with the balloons. Fill one with sand, and tie it, wrap the other around it and tie that one. That should last for a bit with minimal use... It's an old trick from working in elementary schools. We used to do that all the time.

The balloon thing confused me! But, I was thinking you could use them as food storage covering? Not sure if they are completely food safe 🤔 but like you would use silicon or beeswax wraps? Alternatively use them as “to go” storage for liquid products. I’m guessing you possibly use soap and shampoo bars but if you had a liquid form of something could be a way to store things? Just some random ideas that popped into my head. Love your videos ❤️

My friend used left over balloons to cover open wine bottles if she did not drink them up. As I don’t drink myself I am not sure how well it worked or if it might offend someone, but she seemed satisfied with the result :) that way you can also use the balloons several times until they eventually break.

Hello! I love your channel. I’ve been searching though your videos trying to find more tips on ways you preserve your food to help make it last longer. I saw you slice carrots and keep them in water to keep them fresh longer and was amazed! Because of the pandemic I try to go grocery shopping for one or two weeks at a time, but then I’m normally rushing to eat the food before it goes bad. If you could make a video with whatever tips you have (for example what you should or shouldn’t put in water, what should go in the fridge or stay out of the fridge) it would be really helpful! Thanks!
