Mindfulness practice is the only way to catch thoughts before actions ( dropping the ball in Sister’s analysis) and if receiver then Thru’ Vipassana you will be pinged if hurtful words or actions thrown at you just observe with tolerance see the hurt rose as pinged and the pain persisted then realized the giver was doing thru’ their emotional lenses and radiate compassion and now see the pain declined. You just observed the impermanence of nature ! You reach out and do something Good to the giver of your hurt , with dropping your ego! Even a kind word or if at all, stay in silence and radiate compassion or blessings if no further hurt is wanted.

Best explanation of what "Karma" is & how it is created. It is the supposition that we all have the potential for goodness, both to receive & give out, but tgat not all have tge capacity to do so. A child doesn't have the capacity for realising that when someone bullies them, that "someone" is on the receiving end of troubled treatment from others. Thus it's the adults' responsibility, in the family & the community to help the troubled parent, but instead, we are told "...to mind our own 'business'...." We've learnt tgat our bullying happens amongst adults too.. We bully each other in so many ways, we have just accepted as "the norm", particularly our treatment of women & people of different races, religions, politicsl ideologies, universally... a long, long list of people wr disapprove of & abuse. Too often in the West, Karma is regarded as someone getting what they deserve, if what happens, is a bad thing - bad consequences, 'dark' justice. "Bad" being a relative term. It's never been more urgent than today, that we need to review our understanding of Karma. It's the understanding that we must all be taught, that what we give out, will come back to us...eventually. & lately we can see that "justice" coming back at us rather more swiftly, than anyone could ever have imagined. How we move forward will definitely determine the kind of world we are currently on the cusp of. And the good news is, we can keep our Karma - that "BALL" of potential - remaining good, if we hold compassionate thoughts towards everyone.♡
