My friend's wife was in a car accident and she messed up her neck and back. She was told that she needed surgery. I told them to go see you first before surgery and they got extremely mad at me.... She had the surgery and came out worse than before.....

My buddy had that surgery last year a week before Christmas he was in so much pain he collapsed from a sneeze. He had the surgery done and has been doing things light since that spine surgery no joke avoid it at all cost unless it's last resort. You may never be the same again.

I had 4 herniated discs from L4 to S1 all 3-5mm Pain was so bad I could only sleep 10-20 min at a time and no more than 2-3 hrs a night for 2 months. 2 1/2 yrs later I’m suffering from muscle atrophy in the back of my legs. I also have bone spurs in two different places and I need a 1.5” memory pillow under my lower back to ease the pain. Some days are worse than others but I learned to live with that. I thank God that I’m able to walk and do mostly daily chores. Excellent video and I hope this young girl will recover soon.

When I was her age - I too had a severe herniated disc. It took me about 18 months till I was back to normal. I can tell by the way she's walking that she's feeling it pretty bad. I'd wait a good year to get better before I'd go under the knife. The problem will settle down - it's just that it takes so dang long.

Thats great to hear. I tried it all and the pain was so bad I begged for surgery. Luckily I had a Professor of Neurology at Penn State do mine. 99% but I pushed the limits before and after. Still would recommend him 100%

Thank you for letting her lay down this time rather than talking while making her stand in pain. For her sake I hope the treatments worked. DCs I have seen when my back is like this patient's will not adjust me because my muscles are to tight in spasm. I did have an amazing turn around once when I saw a gifted acupuncturist. Went to bed crooked and in pain and awoke stand straight and pain free. If I could find a DC in LA that does the Johnson technique (and took insurance) I would go.

This type of treatment is so attractive because of the immediate relief. I went to physical therapy for my back for a while and it did help. Mostly stretching excercises. I do prefer the treatment from the chiropractor though. It works best for me. Definitely trying to avoid any back surgery.

I have the same injury & just had an episode were the nerve was flared up with sciatica down right leg for 3 months, give it time use heat & ice, walk through the pain , even if it's in ur house......just dont go to surgeon because its been only 1.5 months, the inflammation will decrease , last week i was looking for surgeons this week i am looking for new shoes to start my 5 mile walks every day.. Wow! What a difference since her first adjustment! Dr. Johnson, my 14 year old son was born unable to walk or talk and now has developed scoliosis in his spine. We have an upcoming appointment with specialists but, would you able to work with him? If so, we would be willing to fly down from Ontario Canada.

Ok I've done a disc mid back once by doing t bar rows and arching my back, when it twanged I couldn't straighten up like this girl so Iiterally lay in bed for 4 days and packed ice, off and on for hours, at the end I was able to stand up right and went to work.

I also had a herniated lower disc and surgery was being recommended. I tried the Chiropractor. He examined me and took some x-rays and said he'll get me fixed. The first 2 weeks I was really sore but by week 3 I felt like a brand new man thanks to my Chiropractor Dr Gaffney. It works.

I am a 47 old veteran and have the same L4-L5 but my PCP dont recommend seeing a chiro, resulted to having surgery and they put a cage. After 6 months pain came back due to scar tissue on the nerve. I wish i could have seen a chiro first. I regret having surgery...

I had a herniated disc, I was desperate for treatment, even chiropractic. My primary care doctor didn't say to have me see a chiropractor, he said it would be better to wait it out. I was in so much pain until it finally healed. I often wonder if it was an insurance thing or what possible reason the doctor have for this. He did seem keen on prescribing medicine.
