People like male byleth and edelgard cuz edelgard draws male byleth in her route, it's byleth "canon" gender I guess. Well I don't wanna say any of them are canon, byleth doesn't have a canon gender but for three houses I think the creators really liked male byleth

@@aiyulee6366 being female has nothing to do with sothis being one with byleth, the fact that byleth is male (the canon gender since we see male byleth in fire emblem engage) makes the game more interesting because the fact that Rhea still called byleth mom even though byleth is male makes it so much more interesting and adds to how delusional Rhea really is, and to further prove that male byleth is the canon gender edelgard literally draws MALE byleth during black Eagle route 😭

it might seems Edelgard was a harsh leader in persuit of her ideals, but she isn't the bad one in this story.. the first time I played the game I took her path and I understood why she did her choices for the sake of the future that she'd whished for others..
