@@juanpablolabbe5823 heavily depends on with who and where you hang in LA. these guys don't really do much outside of wake up late, play COD first thing in the morning, go skate the indoor park and maybe go to some influencer/friend party later. But there's a crowd and a space here for everyone of just about any walk of life or interest. I moved here last year from Miami and am shocked at the scale of how many people are in one dense area and you can find a local organization or business for just about any niche interest you could think of. I felt way more isolated in South Florida.

Hey just a thought but this might help your legs stay healthy. Im 47 and Ive been skating since the 80s for real. Those busenitz shoes look good and the skinniness of them does help a bit with board control I will admit. Its a trade off though. Like, even if you think you have “skinny feet” or whatever your toes naturally want to splay out more. Think of that happening as a base for your whole body to absorb impact better, similar to what the physical therapist told you about your knees. Wider toe box = less strain on your knees and other joints

Problem is there's no shoe like this in the industry that stands up to technical skating. I have really wide feet and busenitz worked quite well for me and since I have tried every brand you could think of (Cons, Nike SB, New Balance, Vans, every Sole Tech brand, Hours is Yours, etc. ) and none of these have every had a wide enough toe box or even heel/midfoot. I recently tried the W wide model NB 440s and those were still not any wider than the typical eS shoe. Still not enough for a comfy fit so I stick with wide Vans which suck because they're not the nicer 'Skate' models, just the paper thin classics. Really wish there were orthopedic options for skate shoes like with how there are so many accommodating running shoes.

No but there's only like 9000 police patrol cars for the entire city or county i think. Makes sense because I rarely see patrol cars on the road since I moved here last year from Miami.
