As Christmas is the time for giving I wanted to give lovely Lola the opportunity to Jump Banksy.
So we took him up to Little Margate Equestrian where Lola trains weekly to have a lesson with her lovely instructor Rachel, it went so so well and I couldn’t be more proud.

What a beautiful, tear jerking vlog. I know....I don't know any of you but seeing Lola ride so beautifully, Banksy behaving so well and such great instruction made me feel quite emotional. Lola!.....only 12!! Love her quiet riding style, chatting to the horse, counting her strides.....she will go far. I think she will be looking to do more on Banksy Tina...😊

Lola - brilliant job riding! Rachel - loved to hear the positive feedback as Lola learned how Banksy thinks and moves, then pulled it all together. Tina - you’ve done so much work with Banksy, and it shows. He sasses you cause you’re mom, yet knows with others to put what he’s learned into practice.

He reminds me a lot of my boy, when I ride him his breaks are non existent and he spooks at his own shadow (despite being 19!) but then my 4 year old can ride him and he's an angel! Banksy definitely knows whose on board and adjusts accordingly; he is definitely one in a million like my boy 🥰 Lola did a fantastic job and how lovely was her instructor!? Firm when she needed to be but so encouraging too! Well done Banksy and Lola! Xx

I love that Lola’s instructor is guiding her but also giving her authority to reward and communicate as Lola sees fit. That’s what gives riders confidence in their ability and judgment and thus independence from their instructors.
