I wonder if that peon play - even though realistically they were probably intended to tower as a followup to the rush - was an example of tempo vs value. The undead made the mistake of sacrificing tempo (mana) by using spells on peons (attempting to gain value). Idk if it was relevant in the end, but still fun to think about.

I think random can't be your worst. If you random Orc or Human you're close to your best, that's 50% to be one of your fav two races. Plus it seems to give you Human 75% of the time. I play about 20 games a week and I always seem to get Human/.

Getting random Orc has the advantage of playing your best race and opponent not knowing about it, but also the disadvantage of not having your Orc map vetoes. So e.g. Grubby mentioned that as Orc, he vetoes maps where it's easy to expand, while he does the opposite as Human; but he can't follow that strategy with Random.

The first game was amazing.. he had 3 heroes better headhunters blood lust and still lost the fight.. this shows to the untrained eye how much difference other aspects make in the fight(micro,position,items,etc)

I think utilize the skill from solo hero but dont limit yourself to it, as if you have a hero that strong than train to 50pop then game is EZ

Might be the case. I am just a casual gamer, therefore I have a lot of respect for everyone who can play on such a lvl. And I know that it is very important to be fast, but I had the feeling that there were way less clicks during fights, in which I believe should be a lot more.
