Not a bad map, there are obviously issues and I would expect a 10 years in the making map to have little to no issues but... u gotta respect the effort for sure. Balancing needs some work to do. Looks like the priority of this map was to stuff as much new stuff and mechanics into it as possible, the selection of races should've been better, races options shouldn't disappear and u didn't get the chance to look it up again + dialog buttons are better imo. Descriptions of units are too long to read, they should've been short and concise, i'd say there is a bit too much of upgrades and stuff in general, it's overwhelming. As Grubby pointed out the building wasn't even constructed and it already started healing his units, fortified armor is OP. Some of the creeps seemed a bit too strong, Giants are too OP. Names of the units could've been more creative, but i don't really care about that tbh, the creator could've altered the Gameplay Interface a bit more cuz the text showed "Need more Moonwells" instead of Orc Burrows for more food + the race's commentator is set to night elves for some reason, the custom ability to summon a group of orc units is too OP as well. But i think this map isn't supposed to be balanced and it's just a fun altered melee map so... in that case it's great. IDK i would rather focus on quality, balancing, and fixing the errors instead of quantity, but that's just me, i'm pretty sure the creator is skilled enough in WE to fix the issues but he chose not to. Custom models and textures are basics of WE, every map maker should know how to do it btw. I wish the creator made 4 new races instead of 16 and those 4 races would be perfect with no flaws (would still be 10 years in the making).

Yo, thanks for the feedback! You are right, I could have spent all that effort on 4 races and not 16 and make them flawless, instead I have what I have which is (mostly) almost perfect :D Some bugs creep in, true, mostly coz when I started back in 2011 I had to learn a lot still. E.g. that healing bug I can easily date to summer 2013; I have fixed it two days ago now, lol. The reason balance is not fine-tuned (and also some bugs go undiscovered) is because I really don't have enough playtesting enthusiasts. Case in point, almost a week has past, and Grubby played only one game, despite obviously praising the mod and enjoying it (I 1000% don't complain here, I'm super happy I got any exposure from the great Grubby). I appreciate and and all feedback, so by all means we can continue the discussion :) Have a nice holiday season and see you around (maybe on discord. heh)!

idk why my comment isn't here but those 16 races of yours are not "almost" perfect as u say cuz u didn't fix the race audio (commentator), and each race doesn't have a custom UI or custom sound sets, iirc, a lot of immersion is lost when the essential part of a race doesn't match with the race@@Nightmare2077

Orks are much bigger than their wc3 counterparts and much much more numerous. Bravery is not to question bcs they live and die ONLY for proper scrap 😊. Oh and yes they are somewhat infinite bcs they are in fact mushrooms

0:44 Well it depends on the type of the Orc, general Hammer fantasy orcs would be about the same height as Craft orcs but Hammer orcs have a hunchback posture so they'd be bigger in comparison.

And it's even funnier to think about the history between GW and Blizzard: if I recall correctly, in Blizzard's early yrs, they contacted GW for a partnership which GW swiftly refused, which in turn prompted Blizzard to forge their own path. Now u see the Old World orks waging a giantic WAAAAAAAAAGH! in WC3, it's just interesting to see given these 2 companies' history.

I was once occused of being a smurf on wc3 ladder just because I tower rushed, but I know how much of a scrub I am compared to real pros like you and Happy. In Dawn of War 1 and 2 though, I had a few stints in top 10 ladder and Orks were my boyz :)

Honestly I don't get why map designers don't pause the game for a few seconds so people have time to select their race. It's a very simple trigger, have selected races spawn in paused, and have a timer that's like 1 minute. Everyone has a minute to pick their race before the game actively starts. Immediately getting an advantage because you typed your race out first is such an easy advantage to counteract. It just baffles me that all this effort is put into creating all the unique and custom content, but not the most basic trigger of having a countdown timer to game start to ensure people have an equally fair start. It may seem like a very minor advantage to have, but it's honestly one of the easiest things to fix as a map designer.
