The play style would not change at all, almost. It would just be a massive buff

@@FollowGrubby 25 gold matters that much? From your games, it's usually 4-6 salves bought per match, i.e +100-150 gold. or is that the timing of that extra gold allowing quicker development?

It also depends on the match up. FS is less reliant on heal salves lvl 1, and therefore he doesn't benefit as much. For BM then this buff will open the door to a number of different strategies with BM. Like you would see that players will build Vooddo before Barracks if they want to do early harassment or solo creeping with BM.

Pillage works like the name suggests. The buildings are made of gold and lumber and you pillage the gold and lumber from the buildings.

It was changed to a lower item level and charged instead. It used to always be used once, then sold, because of its high gold value and slow CD availability. Keeping it in your inventory often felt like a loss of momentum when you could sell it and benefit now
